The husband-and-wife team has turned a lifelong love for animals into what is becoming the best pet business in South Florida . La Bone Aventure at 8739 Stirling Road in Cooper City, is quickly living up to its billing as "South Florida's Premier Grooming Spa, Boutique and Bakery." The store gets customers from as far north as Jacksonville and as far south as Key West.
Why? Because, basically, it has just about anything you could want for your pampered pet. The owners dedication comes from a lifelong devotion to animals. They currently have 11 dogs. “We’ve always had dogs, cats and other animals, but that is not enough, anytime one of our pet is not around , there’s like an empty feeling inside.”
Cristobal and Jennifer began their business about 3 years ago, grooming pets in the kitchen of their apartment. When the couple bought a house , they groomed the pets out of their garage. Shortly thereafter, the owners purchased the store at its present location and turned it into their pet spa. When you enter La Bone Pet Spa, you will be welcomed by the owners and their canine managers. Kathy and Boo Boo, the golden retrievers and the yorkies, Tommy, Annie, Cody, and Lucy the maltese who love to model the store's clothes and hip hair styles.
On one site the store features rows of pet clothing,ranging from the quirky to cute ensembles and "high-end fashions". If you don't find what you are looking for the Pauls can have it special ordered. They are also showcases of jewelry, items such as necklaces and personalized rhinestone collars that provide the perfect finishing touch for even the best dressed pooch.
